In recent years, devastating news tickers, chaos, war, pain, division and loss, are just some of the many things that have defined life as we know it. Despair and hopelessness consume the hearts and minds of so many. As we enter Advent, we want to believe it is a season of joy, but this is also a season of never-ending to-do lists. The world is weary – perhaps you are, too.
As the world spins year after year, creation continues to groan for healing and peace. For five weeks, we will journey with those who shared our longings and were at once intoxicated with hope at the site of a baby in a manger. Let us all rejoice!
